Bioshock Infinite is a sensational game. It’s a game with a lot to offer and if you don’t look well enough in certain sections, you will miss some pretty special treats. I found all the Code Books for the Vox Ciphers, but unfortunately I left the area before decoding the final Cipher and by the time it hit me that I didn’t do that, I was too far in the game to turn back. I’ll re-edit the article once I decode it. Each of the Ciphers and chests give some great items. Sometime you can find silver eagles, infusions, voxophones and weapons.
Chest In The Lansdowne Residence- The first time that you’re able to use the freight hooks, the mission marker will tell you to go one way. Don’t do that and instead look for an open window on a balcony nearby. Dismount in that location and go through the rooms of the house. You will find a locked chest that will start an optional quest. You’ll need to find the key in order to open the chest. NOW is the time to follow the objective marker. Take out the enemies in the Founder’s Lodge and head towards the altar. There will be an Infusion as well as a Key! Take it and head all the way back toward the Lansdowne Residence. You’ll face some enemies on the way back, but when you open the chest, you’ll find an Infusion!
Chest In The Bull House Impound- On the second floor of the impound, there will be a locked chest that will start another optional quest. Actually, before you enter the impound, you will be in Shantytown. There is a bar in Shantytown that you’ll need to go into. In the basement, there will be Keys on a barrel. Take these keys and then go to The Bull House Impound. If you got the Keys BEFORE your first visit to The Bull House Impound then you’ll be in for a big fight. If you find the Keys AFTER the fight, it’ll be a cakewalk. No matter what, you’ll have to fight all the enemies. After unlocking the chest, you’ll find another Infusion!
Vox Cipher Locations
Vox Cipher in Sky Road- Upon your initial visit to Sky Road, you’ll be bombarded by enemies. Take them out and then head into the Fellow Traveler, the local bar. One of the bathrooms has a code on the wall enabling an optional quest. If you look on the floor, you’ll see a picture of a cannon. This cannon is on the other side of the sky road. Look under the cannon to find the Code Book and head back to the bathroom bar. After Elizabeth cracks the code, head to the next bathroom and interact with the hat to enter a secret passageway, You’ll find Lockpicks, a Voxophone an Infusion and an RPG!!!
Vox Cipher in the Plaza Of Zeal- After entering the Plaza Of Zeal for the first time, head to the right. There is a locked door that Elizabeth must open. There will be a Vox Cipher code there. This time, you need to do quite a bit before going back to the code. Continue with the story until you get to the Good Time Club. After the HUGE fight there, you’ll head downstairs into the basement of the club. You’ll see a locked cell near Chen Lin’s cell. Open it to find the Code Book. Head back to the room where you saw the code and let Elizabeth decipher it. Examine the clock to find a Voxophone, an Infusion, a Volley Gun and Lockpicks.
