Nintendo has announced a new Zelda game for the Nintendo 3DS and will be a sequel to the 1991 SNES classic, A Link To The Past.
Hyrule will have a similar look and feel, but the new version will incorporate a heavy focus on the 3D screen to its gameplay.
Link also has the ability to transform into a 2D drawing, which will allow him to switch the perspective of the game to that of a side-on view. He will also be able to slip through narrow gaps of the game world such as the iron bars of a jail cell while using this ability.
No release date was given for the game yet, but Nintendo said it will be released in time for the 2013 holiday season. You can also look forward to a special trailer being made available on the Nintendo eShop soon.
