When I read a review of a game, what I want to read about is the quality of the game itself. Not how the game has been marketed, not whether or not the game is expected to be brilliant. I just want to make a decision from the most neutral perspective whether or not I want to buy that game. The same goes for consoles. When the Xbox One releases later this month, I want people to tell me if it’s a good console or a bad one. If it’s a good console, I’ll probably buy it some time in the future, regardless of the mistakes Microsoft made with their policies earlier this year. Hopefully when I and all the other staff here at DigiBytes review games, we express ourselves in the most neutral fashion possible.
