If you thought the Playstation 4 couldn’t develop another problem – you are in for a surprise! According to a thread on the official PlayStation forum, the console has been corrupting save files for select games.
If you were to create a poll regarding gamer’s favorite modes in the FIFA games, I’ve no doubt that Ultimate Team would end up at the top of the list with the most amount of votes. The majority of FIFA players love trading cards, building up their own teams and opening packs, but there are those of us who would rather play another mode like Career. I’m part of the latter group, and after picking up a discounted copy of FIFA 14 on Xbox Live leading up to Christmas, I thought I’d express my thoughts on why Career mode is so great.

Today, Sony revealed the shockingly good lineup of games that will be free for next month’s PlayStation Plus subscribers in the United States. The list is one of Sony’s strongest yet and includes a few AAA titles alongside a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
If you haven’t pre-ordered a PlayStation 4 and live in the UK, Tesco’s your new friend.
The supermarket has announced that 150 Tesco Extra stores will stock up on PS4 consoles tonight and customers will be able to purchase the system without having pre-ordered the console already. And if there aren’t any TESCO branches near you, ASDA has also revealed earlier this week that 155 of its stores will be selling unreserved stock of the PS4 at midnight tonight as well.

I hate to be the one to spark a console war, but I really don’t think SONY have been looking at their competition with the PS4. We all know the story of how Microsoft marketed the Xbox One horribly, but now that both consoles are out, I feel like it’s Microsoft’s that – if I had to choose – I would go for.

Whether it’s thanks to mobile devices and tablets such as the iPad or the rise of the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network services, indie games have vastly grown in popularity in recent years. But after looking at the launch lineup for SONY’s PlayStation 4 which will be released this Friday in the US, I worry that indie games are going to overthrow retail titles, when they should be merely accompanying them.
