Bethesda’s MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online, will be coming to Xbox One and PS4 on June 9 with several updates.
Dubbed The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, the MMO will be bundled with everything from the original PC and Mac game, plus every update and content add-on. Bethesda also confirmed that the console version will not require a monthly subscription fee. If you pre-ordered the game before the name change, the developer says it will automatically transfer to the new game.
Tamil Unlimited will also be coming to PC and Mac as well, free of charge, on March 17. Players will just have to log in to their accounts and update the client. The game will also be going free to play, opting for a new paid service called ESO Plus. It will be offered in 30, 90, and 180 day increments that will give players access to all downloadable content, a bonus to earned experience and gold, a monthly allowance of the game’s currency Crowns, plus more.
“We have made numerous changes to the game over the past year, and are confident this is a game that Elder Scrolls fans will love to play,” said game director Matt Firor. “Players can explore Tamriel with friends, battle creatures, craft, fish, steal, or siege. The choice is theirs. The game offers hundreds of hours of gameplay with unlimited adventures with one single game purchase…”
