During Microsoft’s Window’s 10 event earlier this week, the company’s Phil Spencer revealed that their newest PC operating system, Windows 10, will support Xbox One game streaming later this year.
“Wouldn’t it be great if we could play those [Xbox One games] anywhere in the house?” Spencer said. “We have to put the gamer at the center of every experience.”
Windows 10 will allow game streaming to any device that runs the operating system, including PCs, notebooks, and tablets, with Windows Phone support potentially coming later. Once you have synced up your Xbox One with another device, the service will work with any game, including console-exclusive titles.
