The Borderlands series is a fantastic shoot-n-loot game series beloved by many fans. Now, for the first time, it’s coming to next gen consoles. Borderlands: The Handsome Collection contains both Borderlands 2 and the latest installment Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, in stunning HD.
The Handsome Collection aims to tell the story of the infamous Handsome Jack, as such it contains all of the DLC for both titles. Gearbox Software also allows for cross-saving, letting you take your previous game with you to your next gen console.
Not only the fantastic HD collection is available. Gearbox also released a limited edition version, available for pre-order. The limited edition is known as the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Claptrap-in-a-Box Edition. There are only 5,000 units and they cost $399 each.
However, the price is well worth it as the Claptrap-in-a-box comes with your own remote control Claptrap, as well as a collectable steel case, and 12 exclusive lithographs. The Claptrap is controlled by your smartphone, and can say various in character lines.
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection drops March 24 in North America. So if you recently got a Xbox One or a PS4, The Handsome Collection will run you $59.99 or $399 for the Claptrap-in-a-box edition. A great deal for newcomers to the series, as well as those seasoned veterans.
