Hold onto your butts, there’s a new LEGO game coming to the park.
Warner Bros Interactive, TT Games, The LEGO group and Universal Partnerships & Licensing have today revealed a trailer for LEGO Jurassic World. For the first time this summer players will be able to experience the marvel of the Jurassic Park series as LEGO adventures.
Jurassic World will be breaking into cinemas June 12th and the video game will follow soon after, though a release date of Summer 2015 could mean all sorts of dates.
The game will be available on the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Wii-U, The PS Vita, and the Nintendo 3DS. LEGO Jurassic World is being developed by TT Games and will complement the LEGO Jurassic World building sets which will be released in May 2015.
“As ardent fans of Universal’s Jurassic Park films, we are thrilled with the opportunity to finally bring LEGO dinosaurs to life for the first time in LEGO ®Jurassic World™,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “Imagine playing as the ominous LEGO T. Rex, roaming the grounds of Isla Nublar, smashing LEGO bricks and battling with other dinosaurs – this game is bound to bring out the kid in all of us.”
According to the press release LEGO Jurassic World will feature both islands, Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna. Players will be able to explore these areas and experience the stories from all four of the movies. They will also be able to collect amber, which contains dinosaur DNA, and customize the species of dinosaurs. Dinosaurs from the Jurassic Park films and upcoming Jurassic World will also be available as playable characters in the game too, the first LEGO game to do so.
