SEGA’s revealed that Sonic Boom was the worst-performing Sonic game to date.
In the company’s most recent holdings report, Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal have sold just a combined 490,000 copies to consumers worldwide.
To put those numbers into perspective with other Sonic games, Sonic Lost World managed to sell more than 710,000 copies, while Sonic Generations sold 1,850 000 and Sonic & All-Star Racing Transformed shipped 1,360,000 copies worldwide.
