This news comes after project director Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed that the game will feature a New Game Plus mode that is significantly harder than the original mode.However, if you're a fan of the Dark Souls games and are looking forward to their spiritual successor, this news is likely to come as a blessing as opposed to a curse, as fans of the games and the genre enjoy the extreme challenges as they struggle to overcome them. Well, some of the fans do - I'm sure there are some like me who admire the idea but in practice whimper at the reality of actually attempting to tackle these obstacles.
