Metal Gear Solid V Will Be Kojima's Last Metal Gear Game
In a recent interview with IGN, game director Hideo Kojima said that the upcoming game Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be his last work in the series.Kojima said, "I always say 'this will be my last Metal Gear,' but the games in the series that I've personally designed and produced, Metal Gear on MSX, MG2, MGS1, 2, 3, 4, Peace Walker, and now MGSV, are what constitute a single 'Metal Gear Saga.' With MGSV, I'm finally closing the loop on that saga." He went on to say, "Even if the Metal Gear franchise continues, this is the last Metal Gear."

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain recently got a release date and will be available for PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on September 1st and PC on September 15th
