The Witcher 3 is worse on Xbox One than a low-end PC, according to devs
Damien Monnier - one of the senior game designers on the upcoming The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, has recently pointed out that he'd rather play the game on a PC with minimum requirements than an Xbox One.This was his response to a Twitter user who asked if Damien would recommend playing the game on a PC with low specs or an Xbox One.

This is likely due to the fact that the game only runs at 900p on Xbox One whereas it runs at 1080p on PC and PS4 – a difference which is noticeable, according to Damien.
@wimonsehr @fabiandoehla mmmm tricky I’d need to compare both, even though xbox >minimum, but I’d say PC for the resolution alone.

CD Projekt Red are at work to try to get The Witcher 3 running at 1080p on Xbox One, but apparently the necessary updates to the system software’s development kit would not make much difference, so we should probably expect the Xbox One version to be the least pretty of them all. Nevertheless, Damien said that the developers will try to make it happen, they just don’t want to make any promises that they may not be able to deliver on.
Does resolution matter to you? Will the difference be noticeable? Let us know.
