Warner Bros. today announced the existence of a Season Pass for the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight, the concluding chapter of Rocksteady’s take on the Caped Crusader.
The Season Pass will cost $39.99 and will support “six months” of DLC. Included in this package are additions such as “new story missions, additional super-villains invading Gotham City, legendary Batmobile skins, advanced challenge maps, alternative character skins, and new drivable race tracks.”
Warner Bros. did not elaborate on any of these individual factors, leaving many in the industry to wonder whether the publisher is over-pricing the package. It remains to be seen if Rocksteady can deliver the content necessary to justify the high purchasing price.
Batman: Arkham Knight releases on June 23 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
