Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ is an upcoming visual novel from developer Idea Factory/Design Factory. Today, the title was given a release window on the PlayStation Blog.
Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ will release this fall. Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ follows Cardia, who lives in an abandoned mansion in London, isolated from the world. She lives there alone to fulfill a promise to her father, as she has a disease that rots or melts anything her skin touches. Her last conversation with her father was two years ago, when he told her to stay out of sight and never fall in love. Her quiet solitude, however, is interrupted one day when the Royal Guard breaks in to capture her. It is then that Cardia meets the thief Arsene Lupin, who helps her escape the Royal Guard’s clutches. The two then go on a journey to find Cardia’s father, who holds the answers to her mysterious condition. Along the way, the two of them are joined by four more interesting and handsome gentlemen.
In Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~, players are able experience their own romantic fairytale. Players will meet attractive literary and historical figures, such as Arsene Lupin, Abraham Van Helsing, Victor Frankenstein, Impey Barbicane, and Count Saint-Germain. Each of these men have different personalities, unique charismatic features, and their own mysterious backstory. The game also follows a steampunk theme. The game is filled with 19th century industrial steam-powered machines, Gothic-Victorian costume designs, and and many gear and clock motifs.
Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ will release this fall for the PlayStation Vita.
