DeNA wants to make $25 million a month on Nintendo mobile titles
In an interview with Reuters, Japanese mobile developer DeNA, who recently partnered with Nintendo to make original mobile game's with the company's IP, said that it wants to surpass 3 billion yen ($25.02 million) a month off new titles.DeNA's Chief Executive, Isao Moriyasu, told Reuters the partnership's first game would be coming later this year, but gave no indication as to what Nintendo character(s) would be featured. Moriyasu went on to add that the company plans to develop numerous hit games with Nintendo's famous IPs, rather than just focus on one success.

DeNA’s Chief Executive, Isao Moriyasu, told Reuters the partnership’s first game would be coming later this year, but gave no indication as to what Nintendo character(s) would be featured. Moriyasu went on to add that the company plans to develop numerous hit games with Nintendo’s famous IPs, rather than just focus on one success.
“We want to create games that will be played by hundreds of millions of people,” Moriyasu said. “We want to create multiple hit games rather than aiming to succeed with just one powerful IP element.”
In regards to the estimated sales figures, Moriyasu said, “We haven’t talked to Nintendo about targets, but at DeNA, our best-selling game brought in 3 billion yen a month, and we want to surpass that.” He is speaking about DeNA’s 2010 smartphone game, Kaito Royale, which has since been adapted into a television series.
DeNA and Nintendo’s partnership was announced March 17, with plans to bring beloved Nintendo characters and franchises to both mobile and tablet screens.
