Microsoft and developer Remedy Entertainment have discussed the possibility of porting the original Alan Wake to Xbox One.
In a recent interview with Polygon, chief creative officer of Remedy Entertainment, Same Lake, stated, “I would love that to happen…Nothing has happened yet, but we are discussing this possibility with Microsoft. I hope it happens, we’ll see.”
Lake added that any port would most likely include all the DLC that was attached to the original title.
When asked if it was possible that Alan Wake would make an appearance on a console other than Xbox, Lake mentioned that, while the current port would likely remain exclusive, a potential sequel might branch out to other platforms.
The original cult classic Alan Wake released back in May 2010 for Xbox 360 and PC. Remedy Entertainment is currently hard at work on their new IP, Quantum Break, expected to releases sometime next year.
