Sony trademarks a new PlayStation Vita design
It seems that a brand new PlayStation Vita design may be on the way, if a trademark filed by Sony is an indicator. The trademark first appeared on Twitter, and gives a glimpse at the new handheld's design. While the new Vita does look similar to the recent 2000 model, it seems that the new version may have an HDMI port, which was noticed by NeoGAF user Jignx. It does not seem, however, that we will be seeing the comeback of the original Vita's OLED screen. In a rough translation of the Twitter post, the new Vita is described as "a portable LCD screen game machine controller." The beautiful OLED screen on the original Vita was scrapped for last year's 2000 model in favor of a LCD screen.
