It’s about to get all kinds of cute in Yoshi’s Woolly World.
Nintendo of UK recently dropped a new trailer for the upcoming Wii U platforming title, showing off another way amiibo are compatible in the game – arguably the most adorable way yet.
In the trailer, it shows three yarn Yoshi figures from the game touching amiibo such as Mario, Link and Donkey Kong in order to receive a patterned look based off of that character as seen in the video above.
Nintendo reports the ability to create characters patterns for Yoshi will function with over 40 amiibo, showing off Megaman, King Dedede, Rosalina, Ness and more.
Yarn Yoshi amiibo are being released alongside the game as well, that when scanned, will place a second Yoshi figure into the game to simulate a two player game.
Yoshi’s Woolly World launches in Europe and Australia on June 26 and is coming to the west in the fall according to Nintendo.
Does this use of amiibo get you excited, or is decorating your Yoshi not worth it?
