Cheaters in Destiny's Trials of Osiris to be banned

Destiny's recent Trials of Osiris matches were plagued by cheaters and hackers. As well, there was a bug that some Destiny players were experiencing, called the #Olive error. Many people thought that hackers had created this #Olive error and using it to disrupt matches and tip the scale in the hacker's favor. Their dev blog has recently clarified some things to the Destiny community.Along with some interesting heat maps of the Trial of Osiris map and some statistics on the matches, Bungie has announced that they will be investigating into the, "egregious cheaters among us. If you earned your victories by sinister means, you may very well have also earned a temporary (or permanent) time-out." As well, it was confirmed in the blog post that the #Olive error was just an error that Destiny players would sometimes experience and was not the product of hackers. As of the morning of May 28th, a patch was released to fix this issue for Crucible players. It seems as though Bungie is on top of maintaining Destiny. Are you happy with how Bungie seems to be handling these hackers? Sound off in the comments!
