Desura admits to paying devs late
Desura, a digital games distributor, has recently admitted to failing to pay developers on time for sales via their store. The company recently issued an apology yesterday regarding delayed payments and explained why that's so."The issues have stemmed from a number of factors coming together in a bad way," Head of Developer Relations Lisa Morrison said. "The acquisition of the company last year has presented us with a number of very difficult issues to tackle, and we have been clearing those hurdles as efficiently as we are able. This has been compounded by the office being relocated, and by the current hospitalization of our CEO."The late payments issue has been a common complaint from several developers for the past year now and hasn't ever been fully addressed by Desura until now. Yet Morrison assures companies that while their payouts may be late, they "will absolutely be paying all accounts due."
