The release date for the remastered version of Halo 3: ODST for Xbox One has accidentally been put up on Xbox.com for May 29, but was later removed by Microsoft.
The remastered version of ODST is meant to be a gift from 343 Industries for those who initially bought the Master Chief Collection and suffered from matchmaking issues during the first several months the game was out. “We are so grateful to our fans who have stood by our side and we appreciate all of your patience as we worked through these issues,” head of 343 Industries Bonnie Ross said.
If you didn’t purchase Halo: The Master Chief Collection between November 11 and December 19 however, the DLC will not be a free add-on and will have to be purchased for an unspecified price.
