In December last year, it was announced the campaign component of Halo 3: ODST would be made free for those affected by the botched launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Xbox One.
Microsoft has now made good on their promise with the release of the enhanced “Halo 3: ODST” campaign experience. If you were affected by the poor launch – you should have received a code to download it. If you were a johnny-come-lately it’s available separately for a small fee.
While it’s downloading you should check out the video above, you get shown gameplay of a few levels by 343 Industries’ senior game designer, Max Szlagor and original “Halo 3: ODST” developer Joseph Staten – along with their thoughts and feelings on the updated version.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is out now for Xbox One, as is the new Halo 3: ODST component.
