New Russian Death-Buggy MMO, Crossout, Announced
Today, Gaijin Entertainment and Targem Games have announced their newest project, Crossout, a vehicular combat, massively multiplier online game coming to PC and set to release in 2015. Crossout is an action game based in a post-apocalyptic environment and aims to put players in completely customizable death machines and watch the mayhem break loose.According to the post on Gaijin's page, Crossout will offer players the ability to customize the “shape, armor, weapons, support systems and, of course, cosmetic enhancements” on their respective buggies. There will also be an in-game auction house were players will be able to sell different “advanced mechanisms” that they create using various parts and other miscellaneous materials acquired throughout the game.

Gaijin is placing massive focus on the customization aspect, claiming that every vehicle in Crossout will be unique. They also stated that weapons players will use in constructing their metal monstrosity include: “chainsaws, drills, machine guns, rocket launchers, flying drones, and stealth generators.”
Crossout will be free-to-play on release. In the meantime they’re encouraging any interested road warriors to sign up for a spot in their closed-beta, launching this summer.
