Like playing Mario Kart? There’s a chance you could actually live it.
Nintendo has announced a partnership with Universal Studios to create theme park rides and attractions based on the characters from the company’s games and intellectual property.
“Nintendo has created remarkable and imaginative worlds filled with captivating stories and beloved characters. Now, for the first time, those stories and characters will be brought to life in entirely new ways – only at Universal theme parks,” the release states.
The post goes onto read that this represents a significant partnership for Nintendo by helping the company “expand its reach and popularity of its characters and intellectual property.”
Few details were given at the time, but Nintendo says more specifics will come in the future as the two massive corporations are currently working in creative teams to solidify concepts for the rides.
