‘We’ve yet to see what the technology can allow.’
… Us gamers start getting the leg bounce of nervous excitement.
It shouldn’t be that surprising, given that we’re in the infant stages of gaming technology – yeah, I agree wholly with Zelnick. PS4 and Xbox One have barely touched the surface of a complete gaming experience, because of the limitations of current hardware. If anything, the games set to come out later in the year show more promise than ever to pushing these platforms to their limit.
With Andrew House (PlayStation’s president) stirring up excitement by talking about the deliverance of games that will take a fuller advantage of the new consoles and E3 just around the corner, the outlook for the console gamer is finally getting a little brighter; even when cast in the long shadow of the PC.
Take-Two has its own incentive to take the full advantage of what the current-gen consoles have to offer, with games including NBA 2K16, WWE 2k16, Battleborn and Borderlands 3 all in development, we can hope that the PS4 and Xbox One will deliver even better gameplay than we’ve already seen.
