Currently on the public test realm, World of Warcraft’s patch 6.2 is being put through it’s paces. Thanks to the guys over at wowhead we can see the new mounts that you will be able to add to your collection when the patch goes live.
Currently there are two Gronnling mounts in game, the Sunhide and Gorestrider Gronnlings, and both were only available for completing the Glory of the Draenor Raider achievement. So both of the mounts have been pretty rare up to now. 6.2 will introduce 4 more Gronnlings into the mix. Wild Gladiator’s Felblood Gronnling, Warmongering Gladiator’s Felblood Gronnling and Primal Gladiator’s Felblood Gronnling will all be obtainable through the next PvP season whilst the Coalfist Gronnling will be yours as a reward for a garrison mission.
Your garrison town hall is also going to get a new vendor who will have two more mounts you can pick up. Rocktusk Battleboar is yours for 10,000 gold whilst the Witherhide Cliffstomper is double that at 20,000 gold.
For those of you with a bit extra money, Blizzard have teased the release of the Mystic Runesaber which will be part of the collection of mounts on the in game store. But more will be revealed on May 13th.
But that’s not all, you’ll also be able to get your hands on three mounts that have the chance to drop from three of the elites that you need to slay for the Hellbane achievement. These mounts are the Warsong Direfang, the Armoured Razorback and the Tundra Icehoof.
So that’s a run down of the new mounts in World of Warcraft 6.2, what do you think? Will you be hitting the arenas to get your Gronnlings? Will you be parting with your gold for the garrison mounts? Or will you just not bother at all? Let me know in the comments below!
