Assassin's Creed movie poster revealed
The first poster for the film version of Assassin's Creed has been revealed today with a release date of December 21st, 2016. The poster shows the familiar Animus' virtual glitching lines as well as an eagle soaring above. The eagle is a major symbol in the Assassin's Creed franchise, most notably in reference to an Assassin's eagle vision.The film is set to begin filming in September. Assassin's Creed: The Movie as the poster refers it, will star Michael Fassbender (also helping produce) and Marion Cotillard, so no lack of star talent there. The movie will be directed by Justin Kurzel, who worked with both actor's on the newest version of Macbeth.

No details about the movie’s plot have been revealed. At first, many believed Fassbender would play Desmond Miles, but no one is quite sure the setting or if any of the video game assassins will be in the film. Only time will tell.
