Batman: Arkham Knight will drop a 3.5GB update on launch day to PS4 players when it’s released on June 23rd.
In a post in the PS4 group on Reddit users screen grabbed a shot of the rather large patch. According to the patch notes this adds the “Rival Points” system to the game, the original Batman costume, support for future DLC, and the always present bug fixes and patches.
There is no word on the status of the PC version or Xbox One version having a similar update. The unfortunate truth remains that day one patches are common for big releases.
Batman: Arkham Knight is the fourth installment in the main series and will be released on Tuesday June 23rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC systems.
