If Starcraft players were at all feeling left out with all the talk of Heroes of the Storm, Warcraft 6.2 and Hearthstone then hopefully the announcement of new missions coming to Starcraft’s third expansion, Legacy of the Void will satisfy there hunger, at least for a little while. Speaking at The PC Gaming Show, Dustin Browder and Chris Sigaty confirmed the new content.
There will be three new Whispers of Oblivion prologue missions which in terms of story will bridge the gap in between Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void. Players join Zeratul and the Protoss in these quests and will tie up stories with Kerrigan and Raynor.
In terms of cost, well, there isn’t one. It’s free for everyone. Even if you haven’t bought Starcraft 2 it’s still available for nothing. However early access will be granted to those who have pre ordered Legacy of the Void. You can check out the trailer right here:
