Only days away from the end of its Kickstarter campaign, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has reached another landslide goal of $3,500,000, just a week after hitting its Wii U target. An update was put out shortly after reaching the stretch goal exclaiming “Adding in the $98k from our 1,175 Paypal backers, the campaign is well past the $3.5mm mark!” The update goes on “The Playstation Vita is a great way to kick off the final week of the campaign, especially because we’ll be producing physical Vita copies”
Once again Armature Studios will be heading up the port for the Vita version of the game as well as the Wii U version. Armature says that with the Vita version will come:
- Music Export – We thought it would be awesome to be able to export the game’s music to the Vita’s music library. So we’re going to do that.
- PS4 Cross Save Support – Obviously, we’ll need to work with the PS4 dev team on this, but we’ve done cross save before and we’d love to do it again.
- Touch Screen Support – Remember how we mentioned drawing on the map on the WiiU version? Why not do that for Vita too? And scrub around the map with your finger as well.
- PlayStation TV – We’ll also make sure that the game is fully playable on the PS TV.
And as the final few days of the campaign are drawing to a close many more stretch goals are being revealed than was regular earlier on in the campaign. The new stretch goals go all the way up to $4,750,000 just before hitting a shadowy mysteryious $5,000,000 stretch goal. Here are the goals:
With this comes two more unlocks of the exclusive backer achievements. The new achievements unlocked are entitled ‘Glove of Jesting’ which makes the addition of fun, silly cheat codes that are put into the final version of the game and another called ‘Embarrassing Boots’ gives the description of “Iga Cosplays” and tells us to check back in at Halloween for more. There is currently only one more achievement left called ‘Pyrite Coin’. For the full list of backer achievements visit the Bloodstained Kickstarter page here.
Bloodstained is in it’s last week of funding and will end on June 12th.
