Dean Hall, the creator of DayZ, is working on a game for Valve’s virtual reality platform SteamVR. Hall told Eurogamer that his studio RocketWertz is developing a virtual reality game. This game will be separate from its space game Ion.
Ion, a game created by Hall, was just recently announced at E3 for Xbox One and PC.
Hall said that Chet Faliszek, from Valve, was a huge mentor to him. He was apparently that one to convince Hall to make a game for the SteamVR.
“He contacted me very early on in DayZ’s development,” Hall told Eurogamer. “To be honest, that was the final convincing for me,” Hall said, adding “I really liked what he had to say.” This final convincing moment was seeing Faliszek speak at a conference about the VR in Iceland.
There is no more news about this VR game, as of yet.
