EA has just had their E3 conference, and if you love FIFA as much as I do, then you’ll find your interest piqued a little by the details that have emerged.
As with every iteration improvements have been made across the board, we already know the biggest change in this years game, womans teams – which have been on for many years featuring unique motion capture – so that leaves the less substantial features to talk about.
Starting in defence, agility has been improved to track skill players and your defenders will hold a better shape overall.
In terms of midfield, interception intelligence has been improved to shut down dangerous plays from your opponent. You’re now better quipped to perform sharp passes to cut through the opposition defence as well.
Up front, there are more skills, better dribbling control and new off-the-ball actions to mesmerise defenders and leave them reeling.
A new feature dubbed ‘Fifa Trainer’ which works by showing on-the-fly button prompts to help you better learn what type of pass to play or how to act next.
David Rutter, who presented the FIFA showing, also mentioned there is a little present waiting for FIFA 15 Ultimate Team players.
FIFA 16 will be released 26th September for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
