That’s according to Lara Croft in the new cinematic trailer released this morning for the upcoming game, Rise of the Tomb Raider.
The trailer acts as an “E3 trailer preview” of what is expected to be fully revealed when E3 rolls around in a few weeks. Details of Rise of the Tomb Raider are fully expected to be shown at Microsoft’s conference after it was confirmed the game will be a timed exclusive on the Xbox One.
Featuring a voiceover from Lara herself, the minute and half long trailer shows her again, facing trouble in a snowy, frost-bitten tundra. What she’s after isn’t detailed, but Lara says “The world is full of unanswered questions. Beyond all limits, all reason, the answers await.” She then survives a full-on avalanche, so if anyone can find these answers, it’s probably Lara.
The previous iteration in the Tomb Raider reboot series was widely praised and sold well according to Square Enix after being released on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and eventually making its way to PS4 and Xbox One in a definitive edition.
