Metroid Prime producer talks next title
At E3 this week, Nintendo unveiled Metroid Prime Federation Force for the 3DS. While the game could be fun, some were disappointed that it is not the big console adventure we were hoping for.Don't lose hope in the Metroid Prime series just yet. IGN sat down with producer Kensuke Tanabe to talk more about the future of the franchise. "I still feel like there's a little more work left for me to do in the Metroid Prime series," he said. "I can’t say when, but I want to make another one." Tanabe also talked about where the series left off in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Samus flies off into space, but there is a ship right on her tail, being piloted by another bounty hunter named Sylux. Nintendo DS owners might remember Sylux from Metroid Prime Hunters.

Could the next Metroid Prime game have a hunter vs hunter theme in it? Will the federation themselves be involved, like in Other M? We may have to wait awhile for these answer since many feel the next console title won’t be until the NX is release.
