Mighty No. 9 is the upcoming title from Comcept, the team led by former Mega Man developer Keiji Inafune. We have just learned that the title will support Cross-Buy for PlayStation systems.
Those who buy Mighty No. 9 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, or PlayStation Vita will receive the game on all three consoles. Unfortunately, Microsoft nor Nintendo will not support Cross-Buy between PC and Xbox consoles, or the Wii U and 3DS.
Mighty No. 9 will support 3D on the 3DS, as well as touchscreen support. However, there will be no amiibo support, nor SpotPass or StreetPass functionality. The Wii U version of the game will support the GamePad, but there will be no motion features or Miiverse features of any kind.
Mighty No. 9 is the brainchild of former Mega Man developer Keiji Inafune. The game serves as a spiritual successor to the Mega Man series, and stars a robot by the name of Beck. Like Mega Man, Beck is able to take on the powers of the enemies that he defeats. The game was featured on Kickstarter, and smashed through the goals that Comcept had set.
Mighty No. 9 will release on September 15th. The game will release all the whole console spectrum: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, 3DS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
