At EA’s press conference at E3 2015, Sean O’Brien came out and showed us everything new with NBA Live 16. With new physics in the game, NBA Live 16 should bring the player a real basketball experience like never before.
With the help of the so called “HoopGawd,” O’Brien demonstrated just how easy it was to create a character in your likeness. Using the facial rocognition app GameFaceHD, HoopGawd could see himself as a player in the NBA within seconds. That is no exaggeration and it looked spot on.
The game was also made with Live Motion, combining physics and motion camera to create real movements and basketball moves more realistic than in all previous titles. No more being stuck in “scripted animations,” as O’Brien called them.
The game will supposedly have better passing and screening options as well. NBA Live 16 will be released for Xbox One and PS4 on Septemeber 29th, 2015. This happens to be the same release date as the game’s main competitor NBA 2K16.
