Today the leading publisher of widely-acclaimed free to play MMORPGs, Perfect World Entertainment Inc, and Cryptic Studios announced Neverwinter: Rise of Tiamat will be launching on Xbox One in June.
Rise of Tiamat will bring a battle against an evil cult fighting to return the iconic Dragon Queen, Tiamat, to life.
This expansion is the first of five which will be coming to the Xbox One for Neverwinter, and will incorporate source material Dungeons and Dragons.
Rise of Tiamat was already released for the PC version of Neverwinter back in November of 2014. The story follows on from the events of Tyranny of Dragons, which was available on the Xbox One version from launch.
Players will also be able to fight through the new area, the Well of Dragons, in this expansion.
Although the expansions will be free, an Xbox Live Gold membership is required to play the game and access them upon release.
