At E3 it was announced that Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 will feature a four-player co-op mode, as well as a single-player mode. It was also announced that some content from the original Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare can be transferred into the sequel.
A live gameplay demo at Electronic Arts’ E3 press conference showcased a few new classes, which include the Imp, Super Brains, and a sniper class zombie themed after pirates. The demo also showed the ability to call in mechs much like Titanfall, and the evacuation at the end of a match.
In Plant Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2’s single-player mode, gamers can play by themselves across the game’s maps against A.I. bots. Players can also add a friend in some split-screen co-op. Those who own the first game can transfer “almost all” of their unlocked characters from the first game.
Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 will release in spring 2016.
