EA has announced that Xbox One users can play their newest game, Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, first through EA Access. If you are an EA Access member you can play the game July 9th, five days before release. You can try out the complete game, but play time is limited to 10 hours.
Rory McIlroy PGA Tour is the first entry, since 1999, of EA’s PGA Tour series that does not feature Tiger Woods. The game promises to have no load times between holes and a solid online infrastructure. It was originally slated to release in June, but was delayed to fix some online issues. It will launch on July 14th for PS4 and Xbox One.
EA Access is available exclusively on Xbox One. For $4.99 a month you have access to EA Access’ game vault, 10% off EA digital purchases, and access to play EA games before release. To sign up or get more information on EA Access click here.
