As you probably heard by now, Nintendo announced StarFox Zero for the Wii U during their E3 Digital Event. The game looks great and since its announcement we’ve been hearing more and more possibilities about its future.
In a Q&A with IGN, Nintendo legend and producer of StarFox Zero, Shigeru Miyamoto, said there was an idea of giving the game local co-op. Instead of having a single player use both the television and GamePad for screens to maneuver and shoot, one player would take the roll as pilot on the TV screen and the other would use the GamePad to act as a gunman. In this case, the pilot player would use a Wii remote and nunchuck, or possibly a pro controller, to fly the Arwing.
Frankly, I think that this sounds like a great idea. I hope it becomes a part of the final version of the game, but what do you think?
StarFox Zero will be released for the Wii U this Holiday.
