As Blizzard prepares to launch patch 6.2 of World of Warcraft the testing continues on the public test realm. We’ve covered little bits about the new raid for this patch, Hellfire Citadel, already but thanks to YouTuber Gorthezar we get to take a walk through the brand new raid looking at encounter locations and getting a feel for the place we’re going to spend the next few months grinding away in. It certainly looks like they’ve managed to marry the original feel of Hellfire Citadel as we saw it in Outland with the vile machinations of Gul’dan’s reign, which sort of makes it cool and new whilst keeping a feeling of nostalgia which is something Blizzard have really achieved well in Warcraft with Warlords of Draenor. The early stages of the raid have a distinct Iron Horde feel to them while the influence of the Burning Legion is clearly seen as we go deeper into Gul’dan’s lair and there is a steady transition between the two styles. All in all it’s a very good looking raid, we’ll just have to wait a little longer to see what it looks like when its packed out with enemies all wanting to stop you getting your next tier set.
