This week’s free Witcher 3 content is a side-quest called “Where the Cat and the Wolf Play…” The official description for the quest states: “Explore a forgotten village and discover its terrifying secret. Find out who or what slaughtered its inhabitants and use all your witcher skills to confront this mysterious force.”
After downloading the latest patch, players will find a new witcher contract in Oreton village. Inhabitants of a nearby city named Honorton are dealing with a monster known as a “spook.” It is up to Geralt to deal with the monster.
This free DLC is the 15th add-on out of 16, with the final pack releasing next week. After, CD Projekt Red plans to keep on supporting The Witcher 3, with two full expansions coming later this year and early next year. The first add-on is called Hearts of Stone, and will release in October. It will be followed by Blood and Wine, which will release in early 2016. Players can buy them in a pack for $25. Individual prices have not been announced at this time.
