Worms World Party, the 5th iteration in Team 17’s Worms series after two sequels and two extended cuts, is being overhauled for PC this July.
The game will release 14 years after the original with all features of the 2001 worm ‘em up; securing it a metacritic score of 75 as well as a favourable 8.6 from the websites users. Alongside the originals game modes and gameplay, Team 17 have promised 1080p graphics with the game also running at 60 frames per second. They have also added full controller support, steam leaderboards, achievements and cloud saving. The game is playable with up to five friends, locally and online, meaning more maniacal Worm-based warfare for you and your buddies to duke it out over. It will also feature 20 multiplayer missions for you and that ‘special’ worm to team up and tackle together.
Worms World Party Remastered super sheeps onto PC through Steam and GOG this July 8th at the meagre price of $15, £11 or €13, depending on your region.
