Gigantic, Motiga’s Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive MOBA will be entering beta this August, as revealed by a gameplay trailer from E3.
Although it didn’t show us anything new, the trailer came as part of Microsoft’s E3 presentation. In its aesthetically pleasing cel-shaded graphical style, the trailer shows the five characters duking it out with enemies big and… gigantic alongside their snake-like Guardian, so we can get a sample of the fighting styles we can be expected to learn in game.
Despite a general lack of information, the main thing we get from the trailer is the aforementioned beta date, which is earlier than expected – Xbox Live subscription holders can get their hands on the free-to-play beta this August, alongside Windows 10 users.
Gigantic is attempting to make its own place amongst the ever-broadening MOBA genre by attempting to be more accessible than most others, which is helped by the shooter-focused gameplay. You can view the full trailer from E3 below:
Gigantic is said to release this fall on both platforms, and Motiga’s website says that the future of the game “has never been brighter.”
