GameStop have added yet another deal to their “Summer of Savings” promotion in the form of this new Xbox-flavoured offer.
From now until July 12th, anyone who picks up an Xbox One from their local GameStop will also receive a $40 gift card with their purchase. This offer is even better as it stacks with their already existing trade-up offer; If you were yet to make the leap from your beloved last-gen consoles, now seems better than ever.
The trade-up offers customers $150 store credit towards an Xbox One or a PlayStation 4 when you trade in either a PS3 (120GB+) or an Xbox 360 (250GB+). So, not only are you able to pick up an Xbox One for just $200, you’ll also get $40 to pick up a game to go along with it.
This is another in a recent line of wins for GameStop such as the reintroduction of retro games and boosts in sales, showing that games retail is certainly not dead yet. The Summer Sale is in full swing right now, and other examples of the deals on offer can be found below:
- 50% off pre-owned “toys-to-life” figures for games such as Skylanders and Nintendo’s amiibo range after the purchase of three or more
- Three free pre-owned Wii games (under $10) after purchasing a pre-owned Wii game
- Pre-owned Xbox 360s for $59.99 after a mail-in rebate
The full line up can be found on the GameStop website.
