A look at some gameplay for Platinum's Transformers: Devastation
Platinum's next IP game after the lukewarm reception for Legend of Korra; Transformers: Devastation has been given a quick gameplay trailer which you can check out above. Following its official release in E3, Platinum is teaming up with Activision to give the Transformers IP their special Platinum twist, with all of its splendid action-adventure prowess. The trailer footage reconfirms the appearance of the playable Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Wheeljack and Sideswipe. With not much detail on whether these as well as Grimlock in the original trailer will be the only ones making an appearance for playable characters.The fighting mechanics are exactly what it looks like when it comes to a Platinum game; lots of combos, air juggles, quick maneuvers and the like. If you haven't seen it yet, and you're appetite isn't whet, here's a gameplay demo from E3 you can check out; showing off some gameplay of Optimus and Bumblebee fighting the enemies through the combos between both vehicle and bipedal mode; showing off a diverse style of battle.

I’m hoping that we get to see some Decepticon love soon, but I’m really just excited for this game. Transformers: Devastation is slated for release on the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on October 6th 2015.
