A new trailer and story details for the first DLC release for Batman: Arkham Knight starring Batgirl have been released.
The first post-release content for Batman: Arkham Knight, which arrives July 21 for purchase and download and a week earlier on July 14 for Season Pass subscribers, gives players a chance to control Batgirl in a story prior to the events of Arkham Knight.
“When The Joker kidnaps Commissioner Gordon and holds him hostage at the Seagate Amusement Park, Batgirl and Robin must fight against the odds to save him and avoid falling victim to The Joker’s sinister plan,” reads the official synopsis. “Trained by Batman, Batgirl’s combat combines with unparalleled hacking abilities to take down enemies, control objects and solve puzzles.”
Batgirl: A Matter of Family is currently only coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One following the PC problems the title experienced. The DLC is being developed by Arkham Origins developer WB Games Montreal, as opposed to Rocksteady who developed Arkham Knight.
