Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima gave us a sneak peak of the brutal and bloody finalized poster for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The poster (see below) depicts main character Snake along with Quiet, soaked in blood. Think of the famous scene in Carrie, but even more gnarly.
This comes after a variety of controversy surrounding Kojima and the game. According to Gamespot, Kojima plans to leave Konami after the release of The Phantom Pain. Also, a voice actor has said that Kojima Productions is on the verge of disbanding. Only time will tell whether or not Snake will be holstering his gun for good.
Phantom Pain is set to release for PS4 and Xbox One on September 1, and PC September 15.
