For those of you excited about the next installment to the Call of Duty franchise, there’s not long left before you’ll have your hands on Black Ops 3.
In an announcement made earlier this week, Activision spoke about what to expect at their panel on July 9th at San Diego Comic-Con. A range of Collector’s Editions for Black Ops 3 are going to be announced and you’ll have the chance to play the multiplayer mode on the PlayStation ‘Road to Greatness’ bus outside the convention hall.
As well as collectibles, Activision have teased that they’ll be talking about the Black Ops 3 Zombies mode. Both the lead writer Craig Houston and Zombies director Jason Blundell will be alongside at the presentation.
If you’re lucky enough to be attending the conference, you’ll get to see the Black Ops 3 Zombies trailer first hand – including which celebrities have made it to Black Ops fame. Previous contestants, who you could play as, include John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan, and John Bernthal.
Attendees are even going to have the chance to get ‘limited edition’ memorabilia, which will be something Zombie related. There’s also going to be a ‘Black Ops 3 Escape Room Challenge’, hosted by Activision outside of the San Diego Convention Center, so if you don’t make it to the show, you can still participate in the event.
Think of it like Saw, only with less actual dying.
‘The Escape Room Challenge tasks groups of survivors with solving a series of puzzles in order to escape a locked room before time runs out,’ Activision says.
Black Ops 3 is due to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 6th. Check out the coverage for San Diego Comic-Con later this week to see our thoughts on Activision’s panel.
