Call of Duty: Black Ops II has risen to the top spot on the list of most requested games for backwards compatibility support for the Xbox One.
After staggering at number two, Black Ops II finally overtook Red Dead Redemption, which previously led the list for several weeks.
Black Ops II actually was the original game to hold the top spot on the list after Microsoft first released the poll after their E3 announcement that the Xbox One would become backwards compatible with Xbox 360 titles.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II currently has 77,307 votes, just about 2,000 ahead of Red Dead Redemption.
The current standings are as follows:
- Call of Duty: Black Ops II
- Red Dead Redemption
- Skyrim
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
- Halo: Reach
- Call of Duty: Black Ops
- Gears of War 3
- Fallout 3
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
The poll administered by Microsoft will allow the company to see which games players strongly desire to play on their Xbox One, but each and every Xbox 360 title will be supported depending on a number of factors, including publisher approval.
